Know what Bulk earns, before you decide.

These are our standard business fees for new enquiries from this website, excluding GST. Energy provider charges are additional. The metering examples below include a stated provider allowance; the price breakdown shows Bulk’s fee separately.

Your needs may call for a different approach. Contact us to negotiate a bespoke arrangement. We’ll confirm the scope, fees and applicable costs in a written proposal before you commit.

A continuous sliding scale

Electricity brokerage

Our effective rate reduces as the annual electricity use covered by your engagement grows.

Up to 100 MWh a year, the rate is $4.00/MWh. At 10,000 MWh and above, it is $1.00/MWh.

Between the guideposts below, the total annual fee increases gradually while the effective rate falls. No sudden pricing jumps.

How we calculate your fee

Between two guideposts, we calculate the total annual fee proportionately between them, then divide it by annual MWh for the effective rate. Below 100 MWh, use $4.00/MWh; from 10,000 MWh, use $1.00/MWh.

The nominated sites must be covered by one agreed engagement. Your proposal confirms the consumption basis, rate and how actual usage is charged. Later rate reviews are agreed prospectively.

What’s included and how DIY works

The $299 annual Bulk fee applies to the supported DIY route. The guide uses the selected provider’s indicative price to calculate your result; $699 is the example using $400, not a price for every provider.

DIY estimates use a five-year term. Bulk’s fee over five years is $1,495 per meter, excluding GST; provider charges are additional to that fee. Bulk confirms eligibility, the complete price and separate DMA and BESA before you sign. Existing agreements continue to govern.

Price breakdown and portfolio terms

Annual Bulk fee per meter: $445 for 1–2 meters, $375 for 3–9, and $295 for 10+. Add the provider’s actual annual charge. With a $400 provider charge, the totals are $845, $775 and $695 respectively. A fee included in the provider’s rate is not charged again.

The tier applies to every nominated meter in one agreed engagement. The written proposal confirms the eligible meter count, providers, service scope and term. Adding or removing meters requires an agreed price update; no automatic change to existing contracts.

Indicative annual portal access: Yurika $0; Intellihub $65; Mondo $110, excluding GST. Site work, installation, exit fees and other agreed services are quoted separately. Savings depend on the complete current and proposed costs; no free installation or automatic retailer-fee waiver is assumed.

We explain what’s included, who pays Bulk and whether remuneration is included in retailer or provider pricing or invoiced separately. A fee already included in those prices is not charged again.

Existing signed agreements and accepted quotations continue to govern. This schedule applies to new engagements quoted on this basis.

Provider costs, portal access, site work and exit charges all need to be considered alongside the annual fee. Your proposal sets out the applicable costs we can establish before you commit.
