CSV, XLSX or ZIP · 12 complete months. Eight inputs maximum, 25 MB each.
CitiPower site details
Use the tariff printed on your bill. We compare ordinary tariffs within that class; the network must confirm any change.
Demand evidence and scope
Small/medium demand uses 30-minute kW. Large demand needs 15-minute kVA or suitable active/reactive readings. Supply 23 months for the complete rolling history, or deliberately choose the labelled estimate. High-voltage and sub-transmission rolling minima still apply. Metering, exports, dedicated circuits and flexible/storage tariffs need separate review.
Ausgrid site details
Confirm the connection arrangement and any capacity-history assumptions before comparing.
Capacity can carry a peak from the preceding 12 months. Supply 23 months to model every month of the latest year, or choose the labelled repeating-year estimate. Earlier demand may have been higher. A new DMA alone does not remove Ausgrid’s network metering service charge. Introductory EA251 needs its remaining term checked.
United Energy site details
Use the tariff printed on your bill. We compare ordinary tariffs within that class; the network must confirm any change.
Demand evidence and scope
Small/medium demand uses 30-minute kW. Large demand uses half-hour kVA at maximum kW, from matching half-hour kVA or active/reactive readings. Demand rates apply per day. Supply 23 months for the complete rolling history, or deliberately choose the labelled estimate. High-voltage and sub-transmission rolling minima still apply. Metering, exports, dedicated circuits and flexible/storage tariffs need separate review.
Jemena site details
Use the network tariff printed on your bill. Confirm the details below to compare eligible options.
Demand values use kW for A230/A270 and kVA for large-business tariffs. For large business, leave the small-business period blank: the reader uses 15-minute kVA where available, otherwise 30-minute.
Demand history and scope
Supply 23 months for complete rolling demand, or choose a labelled repeating-year estimate. A tariff change does not automatically reduce billed demand. The model retains it when comparing a transfer. Annual rates use calendar days divided by 365. Special, storage, residential and multiple-connection tariffs require a separate review.
Essential Energy site details
Confirm the supply and meter details to compare the supported business tariffs.
Sun Soaker export billing periods
If you export, enter the actual billing periods covering the analysed year, one per line: YYYY-MM-DD, YYYY-MM-DD. The free allowance is pooled within each bill, so calendar months cannot be assumed.
Charging windows and scope
Provide twelve complete months. Interval tariffs use Sydney daylight saving; basic meters have a different legacy summer-time clock. Select fixed AEST only when supported by the network assignment. Public holidays keep weekday periods. Demand is assessed monthly; average-daily demand remains distinct from the monthly maximum. Existing obsolete tariffs can be checked but are not new alternatives. Special arrangements need a separate review.
Published access rates include the applicable legacy metering component. Export charges outside the confirmed Sun Soaker service need further evidence and are not assumed to be zero.
ACT site details
Confirm the supply arrangement. Prices include the ACT scheme charge. Capacity tariffs need 24 months of interval data to establish the full demand history for a 12-month comparison.
Optional readings and older block tariffs
Network-confirmed exceptions and high-voltage supplies
Only enter exceptions that Evoenergy has confirmed. Published CT opt-out rules contain differences between the table and explanatory text.
ACT charging rules
Peak is 7am–5pm weekdays; shoulder is 5pm–10pm weekdays; all other times are off-peak. Fixed AEST applies throughout the year, including public holidays. Demand uses clocked 30-minute readings. Capacity uses the highest demand in 13 months, including each current bill month. XMC does not automatically waive a continuing legacy meter charge. Tariff assignment remains subject to Evoenergy confirmation.
Tasmanian site details
Confirm the supply arrangement. We compare network costs; your retailer and TasNetworks confirm tariff changes and their effect on your bill.
Tariff eligibility and optional site details
Small-business tariffs use demand at or below 70 kVA or annual imports at or below 150 MWh. Large-business tariffs use demand above 70 kVA or annual imports above 150 MWh. Moving from a large-business tariff to a small-business tariff also requires imports at or below 150 MWh.
Embedded network capacity
High-voltage specified-demand agreements
Enter each agreed option as tariff code, specified kVA, transmission node. Leave the node blank for TASSDM. Exactly 2 MVA needs network confirmation.
Tasmanian charging rules
Tariff windows use fixed AEST throughout the year, including public holidays. TAS88 and TAS98 use the average of the four highest daily peak and off-peak kW demands. Other demand tariffs require their stated 15- or 30-minute kVA evidence. Lower-resolution data cannot reconstruct shorter demand periods. Separate tariff circuits need a combined review.
South Australian site details
Confirm the network tariff and site arrangement. The result compares network charges; your retailer confirms any change to your bill.
Demand and other site details
Choose a one-year profile estimate, or supply 23 complete months to calculate each month from its recorded demand history. Recorded history requires confirmed calendar-month billing; current prices still apply. SAPN limits retailer-requested tariff changes to once in twelve months.
Export capacity and actual billing periods
Enter start and end dates for every bill covering the usage year. Unused allowance rolls forward within each bill, separately for workdays and non-workdays. No period is inferred from an empty field.
Agreed-demand and flexible tariffs
For each supported current or proposed agreed tariff, enter its SAPN-confirmed code, peak kVA, firm anytime kVA, flexible kVA and site supply charge per day. Enter 0 flexible kVA for a non-flexible agreement; leave the final daily-price value blank where it does not apply.
Ergon site details
Confirm the network zone and supply arrangement. Network savings may not pass through to subsidised or regulated retail bills.
Demand, high-voltage and controlled-load details
Missing kVA is not evidence of a kW tariff assignment. Demand Small always uses kVA with a 35 kVA allowance. CAC TOU charges include separate anytime kW demand.
BEST billing periods
For an existing BEST tariff, enter every actual bill covering the usage year: start date, end date, imported kWh. The daily block allowance is 265.75 kWh per billing day; calendar months are not assumed to be bills.
Ergon scope and charging rules
Primary SAC prices include a separate $0.116/day SCS metering increment. Other metering and retail fees remain separate. Public holidays follow their weekday or weekend periods. The electrical zone must be confirmed from the network assignment; a postcode alone is insufficient. Residential, secondary, storage and individually calculated tariffs require their own review.
Only confirmed primary load-control arrangements are considered. Basic-meter eligibility for large load control needs specific Ergon approval because the guide contains conflicting general and tariff-specific wording.
AusNet site details
Confirm these details to compare the supported business tariffs. Tariff eligibility and actual retailer billing still need confirmation.
Capacity, critical-peak demand and special locations
For CPD tariffs, enter assigned capacity and the billed demand for each period in your usage year. If deriving the current CPD, the interval files must contain all four official days. A monthly maximum cannot replace these values. Other billing periods need a separate review.
Tariff clocks and scope
NAST12 uses Melbourne local time. The clock for other energy windows must match the network assignment; choose AEST or local time above. Monthly demand is interpreted as 3–9pm local time. CPD always uses 2–6pm AEST on nominated days. Public holidays keep weekday periods. Annual charges are modelled using calendar days/365.
This is a network-only comparison. Metering, retail charges and export arrangements are separate. Closed, shadow and site-specific tariffs are not general alternatives.
Select kW only if your 7200 assignment explicitly uses it. Missing reactive data does not establish kW eligibility. Tariff 8300 always needs half-hour kVA. Other Energex tariffs use their stated charging units.
Data time, interval length and local holidays
Fixed AEST and interval-start labels are the initial assumptions. Change them to match the export. Ambiguous daylight-saving local timestamps need explicit offsets or a fixed-AEST export.
Powercor, Endeavour, Ausgrid, CitiPower and United Energy use their Victorian or NSW holidays. Energex uses Brisbane AEST charging windows and includes public holidays; holiday edits do not alter its model. Confirm local exceptions; enter full-day removals or additions (YYYY-MM-DD, separated by commas). In Victoria this includes local Melbourne Cup replacements. Part-day exceptions need a separate review. Powercor and Endeavour calendars cover 2024–2026; the Ausgrid calendar covers 2024–2027; CitiPower, United Energy and Jemena cover 2024–June 2027. Jemena includes public holidays for weekday usage and annual demand, but excludes them for summer demand. Essential Energy keeps weekday public holidays; holiday edits do not alter its charging windows.
Choose one bill and interval data to begin.
Interval formats, timing and email details
CSV or XLSX; ZIPs may contain supported files. NEM12 CSV supports one identified meter with an E1-only consumption configuration, in fixed AEST. Other channel configurations and NEM13 need a supported interval export. Up to eight inputs, 25 MB each. Avoid overlapping periods. For SAPN recorded demand history, include 23 complete months.
Selecting files does not send them. Email requests remain unsent drafts with manual attachments. Privacy policy.
